Jody Wiser (president) taught early grades for Portland Public Schools. She founded Tax Fairness Oregon in 2003 after one too many school budget cuts required by the tax-limitation disasters known as Measures 5 and 50. Elsewhere, she was a family farmer and founded a non-profit supporting in-home daycare providers.
Bennett Minton (secretary) spent his career in and around Congress as an aide, reporter, lobbyist and analyst, mostly in tax policy. He joined TFO upon moving from D.C. to Portland in 2018.
Steve Wright (treasurer) was a business executive and entrepreneur. In retirement he has served nonprofits in Portland and elsewhere. He travels often to visit family scattered throughout the U.S. and in New Zealand.
